- 5+ years of experience in WebFOCUS or FOCUS Report Development
- Solid knowledge of SQL
- Solid knowledge of databases - Preferably DB2 (this does not imply database administration is necessary)
Desirable Technical Skills: - 1-3 years experience with Java
- 1-3 years experience HTML
- Healthcare industry knowledge
- Siemens SIGNATURE product knowledge Preferred
- Bachelor of Science degree in business or computer science is required.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience designing and implementing systems
- Experience working with reporting packages
- Experience working with both mainframe and PC applications.
- Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal supervision.
- Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete ongoing tasks in a timely and accurate manner, reflecting relative importance of the tasks.
- Working knowledge of PC software, such as word-processing, database, spreadsheet and DOS/Windows or Win NT/2000.
- Working knowledge of accounting practices and terminology in a hospital/university environment.
- Knowledge of terminology used in the computer industry.
- Skill in writing, using correct spelling, punctuation and grammar, procedure manuals and routine business correspondence.
- Skill in interacting diplomatically with all levels of users--from staff to management--to ascertain and meet computer needs.
- Strong customer service orientation required in dealing with all users of systems.
- The selected individual must be highly motivated and have skills in database knowledge, and SQL experience.
- Must be qualified to design and execute test procedures to ensure completeness and quality of reports.
- Must have the ability to work with project managers to ensure projects meet all business requirements.
- Candidate should have experience planning, prioritizing, estimating, and delivering projects
